Emmy Stachelscheid López

At Wider Sense, I support foundations and companies with creative approaches and in-depth analyses to maximize their social engagement and achieve sustainable impact.

Emmy has been supporting the Wider Sense team in project implementation and internal administration as a working student since November 2024. Her focus is on the analysis and development of projects that help foundations and companies to increase their social impact.

Before joining Wider Sense, Emmy gained valuable experience in research and data analysis. During her bachelor studies, she worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Migration and Integration at the University of Mannheim and at the Mannheim Center for European Social Research. This experience enables her to present complex topics in a clear and understandable way and to support the team in various project phases.

Her passion for social change and social justice also accompanies her in her studies. She is currently completing a Master’s degree in Sociology at the Free University of Berlin, where she is specializing in the areas of education, migration and family. Through her studies, Emmy wants to understand how societies function and how sustainable change can be achieved for a fairer society.

Why did you choose working for Wider Sense?

One of my biggest goals is to be proud of my work. At Wider Sense, we drive positive social change with every project - and that makes me proud.

What is a random fact about you?

Experiencing Berlin's diverse cultural scene intensively and adding exciting film, opera and theater plays to my watchlist enriches me in a special way. Meeting people and cultures from all over the world broadens my horizons even further.
