Kristin Naujokat is project manager in the network project “Kreativpotentiale im Dialog”. She is responsible for networking and advising the partners in the Creative Potential programs. In addition, she designs and develops materials for cultural school development and publishes the results of the network in educational media.
Prior to this, she worked for Stiftung Mercator in the Education Department, initially as a working student and, after her Master’s degree, as a project assistent. There, she supported projects and partner organisations of the foundation in the areas of equality in education, municipal educational landscapes and quality in all-day schools. She then moved on to the non-profit organization MUTIK, where she implemented the project „Creative Potential in Dialogue“, sponsored by the Mercator Foundation, with which she joined Wider Sense TraFo in 2020.
Kristin Naujokat studied Theatre Studies and Religious Studies at the Ruhr-University Bochum and the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen.
Why did you choose working for Wider Sense?
Teaching and learning with and through the arts should be a natural part of school so that children and young people have the best possible educational opportunities. With my work I would like to contribute to making this an everyday reality.
What is a random fact about you?
Kristin is a member of the artists' collective Anna Kpok, with which she realizes performances, installations and theatrical games mainly in the Ruhr area.
