Marius Faber

At Wider Sense, I support stakeholders from business and society in social transformation processes and the development of their organization.

Marius Faber ist Werkstudent bei Wider Sense und unterstützt sowohl bei Recherchen als auch Analyse im CSR Bereich.

Marius supports the analysis and strategic development of companies and foundations as a working student at Wider Sense in order to create positive societal change. His interdisciplinary background enables him to engage with a wide variety of customer groups and project-specific challenges.

Before joining Wider Sense, Marius worked in the financial sector for several years, where he gained his first experience as a consultant. Alongside dealing with economic and financial aspects, his consulting work focused on sustainable investment. Recently, he worked as a working student in the research department at Statista, where he researched and prepared data in areas such as society, politics, and sustainability. In both positions, Marius communicated complex issues to various groups of people in a structured and comprehensible manner and expanded his analytical knowledge – skills that he now applies at Wider Sense.

His interest for the interdependencies of business, politics and society characterizes his professional and academic path. Marius first completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Business Psychology at the FOM Hamburg, where he dealt with topics such as organizational development, leadership psychology and business ethics. In his final thesis, he then focused on the intersection of psychology and political participation. He is now deepening his knowledge in his studies of political science at the University of Hamburg. Central aspects are the influence of different interest groups on political decision-making processes, political economy, sustainable development, and socio-political transformation processes.

What is a random fact about you?

I like to spend my time outdoors running, cycling, or just going for a walk. Indoors you can find me in the bouldering gym or playing chess.
